Role/Purpose: Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of STP plants, including SBR-based systems, by controlling treatment processes, maintaining performance standards, and meeting regulatory compliance without operational disruptions.

Position: Senior Engineer – STP (O&M)
Experience: 8–12 Years
Location: Across Tamil Nadu
Reports To: Project Manager

Core Responsibilities:

• – Ensure smooth operation of STP processes, including biological treatment, aeration, clarification, SBR cycles, and sludge handling.
• – Operate and monitor SBR cycles (fill–react–settle–decant), ensuring proper sequencing, aeration control, and cycle stability
• – Monitor and control key parameters such as MLSS, MLVSS, SVI, DO, and sludge age, ensuring stable biological treatment performance.
• – Maintain treated water quality as per TNPCB discharge standards.
• – Identify and resolve operational issues in process systems, pumps, blowers, and associated equipment.
• – Optimise aeration, chemical dosing, and sludge management for consistent plant performance.
• – Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance in coordination with technical teams.
• – Ensure proper record keeping, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• – Guide and supervise plant operators and technicians for disciplined operations.
• – Support inspections and ensure readiness for regulatory audits.

 Qualifications: Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering

Experience:

• – 8–12 years in STP operation & maintenance
• – Practical exposure to biological treatment systems (including SBR / similar technologies)
• – Experience in municipal / government STP projects preferred
